According to Reuters, he did not disclose what they discussed and said he had not met the Ukrainian delegation that day. Separately, the White House said Russian and Ukrainian representatives, including Dmitriev, attended an event hosted by Melania Trump about the temporary humanitarian ceasefire in Oleshky in the Kherson region. The statement concerns the local operation to deliver aid and evacuate civilians.
The Ukrainian presidency confirmed that Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed preparations for the trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi with European Council President António Costa in Madrid. According to Kyiv, Costa supported European participation in discussions on security guarantees and Ukraine’s economic recovery.
