Cookies & choices
You can read the newspaper without allowing statistics. Your choices apply to this browser and this website.
Essential storage
- appistos_reader: a random identifier for saved articles. A Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie lasting up to one year when you use saving.
- appistos_analytics_consent_v2: stores your statistics choice locally for 180 days. It is not an advertising-profile identifier.
- appistos-reading-zoom: stores your text-size preference in your browser until you delete it.
Optional statistics
Acceptance loads Google Analytics (G-L86DNJ5QDY), with measurement-cookie duration set to 180 days and no extension on each visit. Examples include _ga and _ga_L86DNJ5QDY. Switching to “Essential only” disables measurement, attempts to remove accessible Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the already loaded tool. It does not undo information already sent.
Third-party tools
The Windy map and TradingView market prices load only when you select their respective loading control. Loading contacts the provider, which may process IP addresses, browser details and its own identifiers. This choice applies to the current view and is separate from Analytics consent. You can instead open the provider’s website.
Advertising
The newspaper contains labelled direct advertising and an AdSense ownership-verification identifier. That identifier does not load Google advertisements. AdSense delivery code has not been added to this edition. Appropriate consent and information settings are required before enabling Google advertisements.
Open “Privacy settings” at the bottom of the page to change your choice. You can also delete cookies and local data through your browser, potentially losing access to saved articles. See the privacy notice.
