Updated 02.11.2026 · 13:00, Athens time — What changed

At the 2 November meeting, the prime minister set out 90 priorities for the next six months and announced plans to legislate the main Thessaloniki International Fair measures within two weeks.

He reiterated a minimum-wage target of €1,000 in early 2028, rather than announcing that rate as currently applicable.

Publication of the statement goes beyond the previous agenda. It does not establish final bill approvals or the commencement of new platform-work rules.

Previous updates — history

A Cabinet meeting at the Maximos Mansion is scheduled for 11:00 on Monday 2 November, according to the programme published by the prime minister’s office on Sunday.

Work and transport on the agenda

Presentations are planned on legislation covering artificial intelligence at work and platform workers, with reference to Directive 2024/2831, and on urban transport. Judicial Police, alignment with the revised World Anti-Doping Code and Interior and Development Ministry bills are also listed.

What this means for readers

This announcement establishes the subject matter and scheduling. It does not establish the outcome of a meeting that has not yet taken place or the commencement of new obligations for workers, businesses or passengers.

The next evidence to check is the content of the presentations, final texts and implementing acts. For platform work in particular, mentioning an EU directive in an agenda is insufficient to establish specific new pay rates, rights or deadlines.
