On 6 November, Greece’s Education Ministry published two recruitment calls for after-school support classes in 2026–27. Applications are submitted through OPSYD from Monday, 9 November through Friday, 13 November 2026. The calls cover temporary part-time substitute and hourly paid teachers on fixed-term private-law contracts.

Which call applies

  • Lower secondary: candidates on ASEP’s provisional 2GE/2026 list in branches PE02, PE03, PE04.01, PE04.02, PE06 and PE85 with a chemical engineering degree.
  • Special subjects: candidates on the specified general and special education lists for foreign languages, music, and freehand or technical drawing. The call identifies the eligible branches for each subject and when TE16 candidates are considered for European music theory.

What to select when applying

For each call, candidates choose one secondary education directorate. The accompanying table shows the allocation by directorate and teaching branch. Placements are based on ranking and stated preferences for school support centres. The calls exclude candidates subject to the applicable penalties for previously failing to take up a post or resigning.
