DYPA: teacher applications start today at 15:00 — deadline 8 November
The 14th supplementary call covers specified specialties and areas for the substitute and hourly teacher register. Final submissions close on 8 November at 23:59.

Applications under the 14th supplementary call for DYPA’s Register of Temporary Substitute and Hourly Teachers are scheduled to start today, Thursday, 5 November 2026, at 15:00. The signed call sets the deadline at 23:59 on Sunday, 8 November, Athens time.
Who can apply
The call covers candidates in the PE, TE and DE qualification categories matching the published table of specialties and geographic areas and meeting the required qualifications. It concerns fixed-term private-law contracts lasting up to one teaching year, for full- or reduced-hours temporary substitute teachers and hourly teachers. Admission to the register does not itself mean recruitment.
Examples in the table include mathematics and physics in Arcadia, electrical and mechanical specialties in Attica, and French language and healthcare specialties in Corfu. Applicants must check each specialty together with its listed area; all categories are not open in every regional unit.
How to apply
DYPA directs applicants to gov.gr through Education → Education professionals → Register of DYPA substitute and hourly teachers, using their personal TAXISnet credentials. One electronic application and statutory declaration is submitted with the required supporting documents. Applicants also declare the type of education institution within their selected geographic area.
Timeliness is determined by final electronic submission, and the declared qualifications must exist by the application deadline. The decision refers applicants to the main call of 8 August 2024 for the remaining terms.
Previous removal from the register
Teachers previously removed because they ceased to meet the conditions or at their own request may also participate if they meet the conditions again. However, the prescribed recruitment exclusion for failing to take up a post or resigning continues for its applicable period. The new call does not automatically remove every previous disqualification.
