A quieter phone: small boundaries for notifications
A few targeted settings make more room for concentration, company and personal time.

A vibration, message or notification can interrupt a conversation or task. You do not have to give up your phone. Decide which apps deserve immediate attention.
Review notifications
Look at which apps send alerts. Keep those useful to your needs and limit promotional ones. Try one change for a few days to see whether it works for you.
Choose two screen-free moments
Coffee with a friend or a family meal can be time to focus on company. Put the phone somewhere it does not constantly catch your eye. If you expect urgent contact, explain and keep the necessary exception.
Agree when to reply
A clear response rhythm for non-urgent messages can reduce misunderstandings. At work, boundaries should fit actual responsibilities and team agreements. Do not assume that an unanswered message means refusal to communicate.
Check whether it helps
Notice whether you finish tasks more easily or enjoy meetings more. Adjust settings that make daily life harder. Aim for intentional use with room for what you want to do on and off screen.
