The Ministry of Education is inviting permanent primary and secondary teachers to apply for secondment as Refugee Education Coordinator at the Oinofyta temporary reception and accommodation facility. The post is for the 2026–27 school year and comes under the Regional Directorate of Education of Central Greece.

Deadline and application process

Online applications open on Tuesday, 6 October and close on Monday, 12 October 2026 at 15:00. Applications must be submitted through OPSYD. Late applications will not be accepted, and applicants cannot add criteria or documents after final submission.

Supporting documents

Applicants must attach a CV and supporting evidence in one compressed file or PDF of up to 10 MB. Teachers who applied under an earlier call for Refugee Education Coordinator posts must submit a new application.

Priority qualifications

The official call gives priority to experience in intercultural schools, reception classes and related settings; previous service as a Refugee Education Coordinator; postgraduate study in intercultural education; and documented volunteer work in refugee education. If no applicant holds these qualifications, another permanent teacher who applied may be selected.

What applicants should check

Service in the post counts as teaching service. The call contains specific eligibility rules and exclusions linked to current posts, appointment dates and minimum-service obligations. Applicants should therefore review the full official call before final submission.
