Update, 9 October 2026, 07:56 EEST — What changed: The Ministry of Tourism announced the results of the supplementary application period for admission to its Experimental Higher Vocational Training Schools for Tourism for the 2026–2027 training year.

How applicants are notified

Each applicant receives a notification at the email address used for the application. The result is also available after signing in to their personal account on the application system.

Enrolment takes place from 9 through 12 October 2026. Successful candidates must contact the secretariat of the Experimental Tourism Vocational School to which they were admitted to receive enrolment instructions. Publication of a result does not by itself complete enrolment.

The supplementary process covered training places left vacant after enrolment and replacement by reserve candidates under the original call. It is not staff recruitment. It is based on call 15120/31.07.2026 and amendment 18650/02.10.2026, publication identifier ΡΨ84465ΧΘΟ-ΕΙ0.

SAEK: classes start on 15 October

The training year at the Experimental Higher Vocational Training Schools for Tourism starts on Thursday 15 October 2026. The winter semester, covering the first and third semesters of study, runs until 10 February 2027. The spring semester, covering the second and fourth, runs from 11 February to 9 June 2027.

Practical training is scheduled from 10 June to 30 September 2027. School directors prepare weekly timetables and set final examination dates. Missed training hours must be made up within the semester; completion requires the prescribed hours for each specialisation.

These provisions are in decision 18822/06.10.2026, publication identifier Ψ31Ψ465ΧΘΟ-ΗΡΠ.
