Revolut: UK status page now shows normal operation
The previous partial-unavailability indication has been replaced by normal operation. The change does not certify completion of every pending transaction.

Updated 20.10.2026 · 22:04, Athens time — What changed:
Revolut’s official United Kingdom status page now indicates that all systems are operating normally. Two checks on 20 October 2026 confirmed the change from the earlier partial-unavailability indication.
This is the status of that particular service dashboard. It is not a retrospective audit of every transaction, a count of affected customers in Greece or confirmation that every pending item has cleared.
Google Cloud’s separate London bulletin still records an incident end at 17:00 Athens time. Its latest 17:03 update continues to mention possible residual impact on a small number of customers and a pending incident analysis. Revolut’s new indication does not remove Google’s qualification.

Updated 20.10.2026 · 18:04, Athens time — What changed:
Google Cloud records an end to the London incident at 17:00 on 20 October 2026, Athens time. Its 17:03 update shows AVAILABLE status: the problem has been mitigated for most customers, while a very small number may still be affected and engineers are working on those cases.
The company directs affected customers to support and plans an analysis after its internal investigation. This does not establish universal recovery without residual issues.
Revolut’s official UK status page continued to show partial unavailability when checked. Closing the infrastructure incident does not confirm restoration of every banking service.

Updated 20.10.2026 · 16:08, Athens time — What changed:
Google Cloud now reports observed service recovery for most workloads in its London region, europe-west2, from 15:10 on 20 October 2026, Athens time. The update was published at 15:44.
This is a material change from the earlier recovery forecast following mitigation of the power event. However, the incident remains active and the same bulletin still lists unavailable services in europe-west2-b and possible errors in the wider region.
The official Revolut United Kingdom status page continued to show partial unavailability when checked. Progress in Google infrastructure is not confirmation that Revolut or all its transactions have fully recovered.

Updated 20.10.2026 · 15:08, Athens time — What changed:
In its 20 October 2026 update at 14:12 Athens time, Google Cloud attributed the outage in London’s europe-west2-b zone to a power event and said that event had been mitigated.
The same update forecast partial infrastructure-service recovery within the following half hour, with remaining services to follow. This forecast is not confirmation of full restoration: the incident remained active when checked, with unavailable services in that zone and possible errors across the wider London region.
The official Revolut United Kingdom status page continued to show partial unavailability. No firm full-recovery time for Revolut or count of affected customers in Greece was established.
Earlier updates — history
A service disruption affecting Revolut access and transactions is being reported on 20 October 2026, while Google Cloud lists an active incident in its London region, europe-west2.
Services showing problems
The official Revolut status page checked for the United Kingdom displayed an overall partially unavailable status. Listed services include account access, card payments, transfers and ATM withdrawals, alongside Business services.
This record does not quantify affected customers in Greece or establish that every transaction fails in every country.
Google’s confirmation
Google reports elevated errors and intermittent network failures across multiple services in the London region. The incident start converts to 09:08 on 20 October, Athens time. This concerns a specific infrastructure region; it does not establish a worldwide outage of all Google services.
The reported connection
Reuters links Revolut’s disruption to the Google Cloud incident, citing a person familiar with the matter. It also reports Revolut’s assurance that customers’ money and data remain safe.
The official updates checked did not confirm full restoration or a firm recovery time. For a pending transaction, users should monitor the status shown in their account and subsequent official updates.
