Eligible businesses in Rethymno can express interest through myBusinessSupport until 23 October 2026 for economic losses linked to the 14 March 2024 landslide in Kotsyfou Gorge. AADE and the joint ministerial release of 16 October confirm the deadline.

The scheme concerns businesses with a registered office or branch on the landslide date in the communities of Agios Vasileios, Agios Ioannis Agiou Vasileiou and Agkouseliana, or the settlements of Sellia, Ano Rodakino and Kato Rodakino. They must operate lawfully, remain active, have been subject to VAT on 31 December 2024 and have suffered economic losses.

Joint Ministerial Decision 74047/2026, Government Gazette B 6168 of 12 October 2026, sets additional eligible-activity-code, tax-filing and exclusion criteria. Not every business in the area automatically qualifies. Access uses TAXISnet credentials.

Expressing interest creates no entitlement to payment. A further joint decision is required to set the amount and award arrangements. The dates also differ: today’s release says the platform opened on 14 October, while Gazette article 2 provides for applications from 12 October. Both specify 23 October as the closing date.
