OTE: old dividends must be collected by 31 December

The deadline covers the 2020 financial-year dividend and the special dividend announced in November 2021. The company explains collection before unclaimed amounts pass to the state.

Eligible shareholders with unclaimed OTE dividends have until 31 December 2026 to collect them, according to the company’s regulatory announcement of 15 October.

The notice covers two distributions: the 2020 financial-year dividend and the special dividend announced in November 2021. It does not announce a new dividend.

Collection requirements

Payment is available through Piraeus Bank branches on presentation of an identity card or passport. An authorised representative can also collect it, with authorisation and their own identification document.

After the deadline

The company says any amounts left unclaimed will pass to the Greek state and shareholders will lose their entitlement to collect them. The same deadline for the 2020 financial-year dividend already appeared in the original distribution announcement of 23 June 2021.

For enquiries, today’s announcement directs shareholders to the group’s Investor Relations team: iroffice@telekom.gr.
