New nine-member board appointed at Greece’s Defence Innovation Centre
Stylianos Kavadias becomes chair and Konstantinos Ladas chief executive, for a five-year term.

The Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation has a new nine-member board appointed for five years, following a General Assembly decision announced on 7 October 2026.
Leadership changes
Cambridge professor Stylianos Kavadias is non-executive chair. Researcher Konstantinos Ladas becomes chief executive, with Panagiotis Stampoulidis as vice-chair.
The ministry links the reshuffle to strengthening defence innovation. This is a governance change: the announcement itself does not introduce a procurement contract, a funding amount or an application call for businesses. Those would require subsequent decisions.
