DiscoverEU: applications close at 13:00 Greek time today, 15 October
The deadline is noon in Brussels, or 13:00 in Greece. The call covers people born in 2008 and offers a travel pass, not full coverage of trip expenses.

The autumn DiscoverEU application round closes at 13:00 Greek time on Thursday 15 October 2026. The European Commission and the official rules set the deadline at noon in Brussels.
Who can apply
The call covers people born between 1 January and 31 December 2008 who are citizens or residents of an EU member state, associated overseas territories or the specified countries participating in Erasmus+. Eligible young people in Greece are therefore included.
Applications are submitted through the DiscoverEU section of the European Youth Portal. Applicants must verify their email, provide an identity card, passport or residence permit number and answer the selection quiz. Groups of up to five are allowed; other members use the group leader's code and must also complete their registration before the deadline.
What the pass offers
Successful applicants can use the pass for seven travel days within a period of up to one month, between 1 March 2027 and 31 May 2028, mainly by rail. Other transport modes are permitted in specific circumstances, and a discount card is provided.
This is not a free holiday package. Accommodation, food and other personal expenses require a separate budget. Applying does not guarantee selection, and applications for this round cannot be submitted after the deadline.
