The 2027 European Junior Artistic Swimming Championships have been awarded to Greece by European Aquatics, according to the Hellenic Aquatic Federation’s announcement of 23 October 2026. The event will take place at OAKA’s indoor pool on 26–30 May 2027.
It returns to Athens after 2025. It is a separate age-group event in a different year from the August 2029 World Youth Championships described below. Confirmation of OAKA for 2027 does not automatically establish the 2029 venue.
The announcement provides dates and a venue, without ticket arrangements or a detailed daily competition programme.
Earlier award — 2029 World Youth Championships
Athens will host the World Youth Artistic Swimming Championships in August 2029, according to the official World Aquatics calendar.
The international federation announced the award on 15 October 2026. The Hellenic Aquatic Federation confirmed it on 21 October, and ERTnews reported it on the morning of 22 October. The host-city selection is confirmed.
Age groups and the previous edition
The championships are for girls aged 13–15 and boys aged 13–16. Athens hosted the same event at OAKA in 2025.
The multi-year calendar also includes the Youth Championships in Calgary on 18–22 August 2027 and the Junior Championships in Santiago in 2028. These are separate age-group competitions.
Details still to be announced
World Aquatics specifies the month and year for Athens, without exact dates. The announcements checked do not yet provide the competition schedule, ticket arrangements or a confirmed venue for 2029. OAKA's use in 2025 does not by itself establish the venue for the next edition.
