Development Law: three new SME schemes planned by the end of 2026
The Development Ministry announced plans covering international expansion, social entrepreneurship and crafts, and modern technologies. Calls and eligibility terms are still awaited.

Three new Development Law schemes for small and medium-sized enterprises are planned by the end of 2026, Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos announced at the first National Crafts Conference on 12 October.
Planned areas
They would cover international expansion, social entrepreneurship and crafts, and modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence. The ministry aims to give smaller production businesses opportunities to modernise.
What firms need before applying
This announcement contains no active call, closing date, eligible business codes, aid rates or document checklist. Those require individual calls and implementing acts. The timetable alone does not allow an application or establish funding approval.
Separate fuel announcements expected
The minister also signalled additional diesel and heating-oil interventions during the week. The release sets out no amounts or beneficiaries, so it does not establish a new benefit with final terms.
