Fishing vessels: final application extension to 30 October at 3 p.m.
The €16 million programme supports modernisation without increasing fishing capacity. Proposals of €5,000–€500,000 are submitted through OPSKE.

Applications for investment in fishing vessels have been extended to Friday 30 October 2026 at 3 p.m. Greek time, the Ministry of Rural Development and Food announced on 16 October. It describes this as the final extension; the previous deadline was 16 October.
The scheme is Action 1.1.2 of the Fisheries, Aquaculture and Sea Programme 2021–2027, with total public expenditure of €16 million. The deadline is in the afternoon, not at the end of the day.
Eligible investment and funding limits
The action supports vessel modernisation, better working conditions and safety, and fisheries sustainability, without increasing fishing capacity. Each proposal may have a budget of €5,000–€500,000.
Public funding can reach up to 85%, depending on the category of operation and vessel. This is not a uniform or guaranteed rate for every applicant.
What applicants need to do
Applications are submitted electronically through OPSKE, app.opske.gr. Applicants should check the current call for vessel eligibility, eligible expenditure and supporting documents before final submission.
The extension provides more time to apply; it is neither approval of a proposal nor a payment announcement. This action is separate from support for fishing fuel and damage to nets.
